Review: The Body Shop.

Let me start by saying that i have been a huge fan of The Body Shop products since i was about 13. I was introduced to it by my Auntie who was a massive fan herself.
The smells are amazing & some of the products really work for me.
I was kindly sent these Body Shop products to try out and test, however, this will in no way alter my personal opinion on each of these products. This review will be all my honest thoughts on personal experience's with each item.
I have been tesing each and every one (besides one - which you will find out why later) for about 3+ weeks, and you'll just have to take my word for it ;)
I know that some of you might not be interested in some of the products i am reviewing, but just skip to the next one if that is the case. I dont expect you to read EVERYTHING. (That is unless you want to :))

That said...lets get on with it. :)

Vitamin C Eye Revver
This cute little orange pump bottle claims to revilatise & brighten the undereye area.
Now, personally, i am always so sceptical about eye products doing anything of the sort.
The only product i can really compare this to is the Soap & Glory one i bought last week, although that is in Gel form, so infact are 2 completely different products.
It is unscented & in more of a lotion form. It also has a very apparent "cooling" effect. Which actually, is the nicest i've ever tried.
I have been applying this most mornings, and i can't say i have noticed any difference in my dark circles (not that it claims to deminish these) but i LOVE the feeling this leaves. It tightens, cools and really does well in making me feel awake.
rrp £8.80

Body Butters
These are, in my opinion, the most famous product the Body Shop have produced. Body butters are one of my absolute must haves. I think over the period of 6 years i have had almost every scent. Coconut & Cocoa Butter being my favourites.
They are rich in Shea & Cocoa Butter making them amazingly hydrating to the skin.
I also think they work wonders on burnt skin as an aftersun treatment.
If you've been on holiday and you want to keep your tan lasting as long as you can, use a body butter because that works amazingly for me.
Alot of people may have issues with it feeling quite greasy if your skin isnt in need of a good quenching, but you can apply as little or as much as you need.
I would definitely reccommend everyone to have one of these amongst their skincare stash. I will be buying these until i'm old and wrinkly (although i shant be that wrinkly if i carry on using them ;))
rrp: £12.20 (200ml - The larger size)
£4.85 (50ml - The smaller handbag size)

Facial Blotting Tissues
Okay, so in all honesty, i haven't used these much. As most of you who read my blog know, i have dry skin, and therefore blotting it..would result in horrific flakey-ness.
I did however, test them on my not-so-willing boyfriend, Jack.
I didnt have to force him mind you ;)
They were very powdery, and found they actually had a rather decent coverage. Not only did they diminish any oils on his face but left a perfectly smooth powder behind covering any blemishes too. I actually know a fair few people that swear by these.
You can use them over makeup, or under & they have a fab matte effect.
So if you are a "blotting paper" kinda gal, you should give these a try. I reckon you could be pleasantly surprised.
P.s...Jack did hate the powder on his face and washed it off promtly...obviously some boys arent into the whole makeup thing. ;)
rrp: £3.90 (for 65 sheets thats aint bad at all!)

Lip Butter
I was excited i had recieved this lip butter as i had been meaning to buy it. As i previously stated, my favourite Body Shop scent/flavour is coconut (obviously not everyones cuppa) so to have this in Lip butter form was aces.
The lip butters are just as amazing as the body butters.
I could seriously eat this. I have it on my lips as i type this and i am really trying hard not to lick them.
They contain Beeswax, Cocoa butter & vitamin E.
It feels like silk on your lips, and i actually found this scent/flavour to be alot more moisturising than the ever so famous "yes yes yes", even though i think the "yes yes yes" lip butter has the best scent i have ever come across.
Again i would have to reccommend these lip butters to everyone as i have also been through my fair share of different scented pots of these, and i dont think i could be without one in the bottom of my handbag, i sometimes even prefer them to Carmex (Shh)
rrp: £4.85

Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream
Again, i have been a massive fan of the Body Shop Vitamin E products. I have purchased a fair few items in the range, all have been goood & had great results.
This cream contains shea butter and really fine light reflectors to create a healthy looking glow.
Alot of people dont like the thought of having Shea Butter on their face, as it is very moisturising. I would only ever reccommend the Vitamin E range to anyone with dry skin lacking in radiance. I do think if you suffer with very oily skin to stay clear of anything like this, as obviously you will be adding more reflective light.
Over time this lotion and others in the vitamin e range promise to soften the skin and make it appear more smooth. I didnt notice any smoothing..or softening, but it could still be early days.
I can't say i was completely bowled over by this product, it did give me a gorgeous dewy base for makeup, and yes, i definitely look more awake when im wearing it, but i dont think for the price it is entirely worth it, unless you really do have dull, dry skin.
rrp: £8.80

Beeswax Texturising Wax
If you hadn't already guessed, this is the product i couldn't really test.
I could tell you what it smelt like, and felt like, but as i dont have short hair or use gel...i couldn't tell you how it performed.
Jack did however use this, and (im sorry he wasnt very descriptive) said that it
"felt nice, was easy to style and lasted a good amount of time"
Although really, i can't imagine a boy choosing this over the normal "VO5 or Garnier" in a supermarket if im honest. The boys i know, arent really too fussy about what they put in their hair.
One thing I liked about this, was the scent...honey. I was sniffing Jacks hair like a madwoman, although i dont think Jack was AS keen, i don't know if its normal for guys to smell of honey, or if its a bit too feminine.
rrp: £4.85

Lipgloss
The colour of this gloss is "13 - Pale Pink"
I wasn't so impressed with this. The best way of describing it would be in comparison to Mac's Dazzleglasses but not as pretty.
The consistency, i found, was quite sticky...on the sticky scale i'd say it was like a Dazzleglass.
and there are very small particles of light reflecting glitter.
One thing i hated was the scent, but i know this is only a personal preference. It smelt like blueberry sweets...and for some reason..i just find it too sweet and sickly. Obviously, to some, this would be the perfect scent.
It also didn't have much pigmentation...in fact very little which is why i have no swatch of it, as you couldnt see anything but glitter. Obviously there are darker colours in the range, which i haven't tested so im hoping they are alot more pigmented than this one.
The one thing i DID love about these, was that not only is it a lipgloss, it moisturises your lips aswell as making them look pretty...which is something that Mac need to do, as their lipglasses can bevery drying.
If there are any of you that want something similar to a dazzleglass without paying the massive price tag and you dont mind the blueberry scent then i would highly suggest you take a look at these.
rrp: £9.25

Tea Tree Blemish Stick
I LOOVE this. I have been using this on my blemishes and it clears them right up.
I really dont have much else to say on this product. I always have a tea tree stick in my skincare collection, im sure i speak for everyone else when i say it really does work & if you don't own one, then shame on you. :)
Unless of course you have perfect skin, in which case then...DAMN YOU!
rrp: £4.00

Eyeshadow
I was hugely dissappointed to find that the shadow had broken in transit, along with a mascara wand which had completely snapped into about 3 pieces and was unfixable...so i could not use it...thus no review im affraid.
The shadow, although broken, is such a gorgeous colour. One that i could definitely see myself buying in the shop.

It's a gorgeous moth brown and the consistency of the shadow is really smooth and application and blendability is also very very good. Its also very pigmented.
They have an amazing range of colours, and i'm definitely going to go and check some more out.
The colour i have here is 32 - Chocolate
rrp: £7.80

Mineral Kabuki
This is by far, my favourite Body Shop product i was sent.
I have used this everyday since i've had it in conjunction with my Bare Escentuals Mineral Foundation.
Application is quite literally flawless.
The brush is dense, soft and has not shed one hair!
I Love.Love.Love it.
I can't reccommend this brush enough. I have contemplated buying the Mac kabuki but now i really dont feel the need to, and i prefer it to my Lily Lolo one too.
rrp: £14.65

Shimmer Cubes
When i recieved these, i have to be honest, i just thought they would be a bit of a dissapointment.
I guess i have become some what of a makeup snob, and if the shadow isn't from Mac, Nars or Urban Decay, theres no way it will be any good? right?
Wrong.
These are FAB!
They are very pigmented, blend superbly, and the colours are gorgeous.
They are all shimmery but then i do like shimmer, and these are very much night time shades, in which case you'd go for a bit of shimmer right? Plus, they're called "Shimmer Cubes". If you didn't like shimmer, you wouldn't purchase this full stop.
I have used this SO much since i've had it. I even did my friends ball (prom) makeup with it, and she loved the outcome and it lasted well all night.
The only ONE thing i would say is that they can be a BIT crumbly, but apart from that they're amazing.
To see a look i created with these shimmer cubes, click HERE
rrp: £15.65

Tinted Glow Enhancer
This, i have mixed views on. Only because i didn't notice THAT much of a difference.
I really love the idea of something to brighten your complexion & make you glow (hence my purchase of the Glow Job by Soap & Glory a few weeks ago) but, in all honesty, i didnt like it as much as Glow Job. Purely because i loved the golden tint that Glow Job gave, whereas this gives an extremely light, skin-like coverage with a slight sheen.
I think this would be FAB for older women, or those who dont want the bronzed glow, as it it alot more natural.
In the picture above you can clearly see there is a glow.
I like the concept, but really i think the effects were very subtle, this might be more your cup of tea, but not mine.
rrp: £10.75

Mascara
This mascara is in black & has a plastic wand. I'm not really a fan on plastic wands, i've always been a brush wand girl. I just feel it grips the eyelashes more.
My feelings on this product are neutral.
I really like the outcome, it definitely divides the lashes...although i wouldnt say it really multiplys.
I really like this for an everyday natural look, as it really does look like you have naturally black, pretty lashes.
I would reccommend this to younger girls who might be wearing mascara to school, as it wears well throughout the day and doesnt look too dramatic and doesnt clump.
Personally, i love my lashes to be lengthened a little more and to look alot thicker, which i dont think this really did.
rrp: £10.75

I hope you enjoyed my review or found it somewhat helpful.
There some gems in there! :)
You can find these products on the website or in a Body Shop shop... ha
& keep an eye out for promotions and sales as alot of things become reduced by quite a bit, and its worth checking up, to grab yourself a bargain!

And the Faux Oscar goes to...

...ME!

I awoke yesterday morning to a large box in the post. I did wonder if i had been ordering things in my sleep...
I opened it to reveal this beauty...

Haha, i knew instantly it was from Jack.
He had to listen to me squeal with excitement whenever i reached 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and finally the biggest squeal was for 1000 followers.
& he had ordered me a little trophy online. :D

[Congratulations Zozo! 1000 followers....Yay! xx]

I laughed so much, Its fab when a sense of humour combines with a romantic gesture!
I do love him so & i bloody love this trophy.
*giggles*

I think trophies should be given for loads of things, not just sport or amazing acting.
Lets all share some love and send some trophies hehe

My First Time

Hello Everyone!

Although some may click this in the hope of discovering some very juicy sex gossip, that's not actually what this is. My chummy Louise made this video tag about all her "Firsts" of things. (i.e. First crush, First Kiss etc) and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon and fill you in on my many embarrassing stories surrounding boys from my childhood and disasters on the motorway!

Although I know a lot of you like to watch videos about beauty, but I also know that some of you prefer the more "lifey/vloggy" type of videos, so grab yourself a cuppa (or a cool beverage if you prefer), a few cheeky biscuits and enjoy!

Just my Luck.

This is a slightly different blog to normal. More a breakdown of the last few days I've had, and the chaos it involved, of which I thought I'd share with you.

You know those days where NOTHING goes right? When everything that could possibly go wrong, goes wrong and you end up laughing about it because you were just SO UNLUCKY? I had 2 of these days, one after the other. After the 48 hours were over, I was so frazzled. I looked just like a cartoon character that's been through hell and back. Bags and dark circles under the eyes, hair sticking out everywhere, torn clothes & grubby feet (I hope i'm painting you a pretty picture here).

So me & my boyfriend both had a week off from work and so planned to head up North to surprise his mum for her birthday & to see his little sister. Now, most of you will know that I live South West of England, and we were heading for Lincoln. It was around a 4 and a half hour car journey & we went in my little Vauxhall Corsa. I'd like to point out here that my car has always been an absolute nightmare, (I liked to nickname it the Flinstone Mobile) and so actually arriving seemed like such a miracle. We had a great few days, where nothing went wrong (besides me loosing every game of Bowling - I'd like to put this down to bad luck, but i'm sure the reality is just that everyone, including W's 9 year old sister was better at bowling than me). On the Wednesday however, my luck turned for the worst. Driving back from a day in Nottingham (an hour away from Lincoln) on our way to watch his sister perform in a show, we heard a strange noise coming from my car, a lady pulled up next to us at a roundabout junction and told us "Your tyre is MEGA flat y'anno". No. We didn't know...and there was nowhere to pull over to sort out this issue. So, we had to drive, on a flat tyre until we found somewhere to pull over. The lady was right, my tyre was as flat as a pancake, and there was a delightfully massive screw nestled deeply into it. My first thought was "Holy crapola...do I even have a spare tyre..or a car jack?". Turns out I did. THANKFULLY. Using it however, was a different matter. My boyfriend being a man, managed to figure it out in the end, with the help of some random car park patrol man with "mam" and "dad" DIY tattooed to his hands. So, new tyre firmly on, we could go on our way? Well, no. The new tyre was also flat. This was a serious dissapointment...we drove again, with a flat tyre to a garage where we pumped it up. Thankfully it was just low on pressure. After this, it was far too late to make his sister's show, which was so frustrating but at least we were back on the road and the problem was averted. Driving back after sorting the tyre, the oil light flashed up. Great. No oil. We got back and topped it up ready for the long drive home the next morning.

The next morning came, and we checked oil, water, topped up petrol, checked tyre pressure, made sure we had enough cheesy pop cd's to get us through 5 hours and a few snacks and drinks and we were on our way. I had popped on a new pair of trousers that W had ever so kindly bought me from Primark the following day in Nottingham, and there was a MASSIVE hole in them down the side seam, which I hadn't noticed at first, but got gradually worse throughout the day. I wasn't overly bothered, nobody would be seeing me, I'd only be in a car for 5 hours. I'll get home, and take them back. No biggy...yeh right. As soon as we set off, my oil light flashed up again, even though there was clearly enough oil in the engine. We got about an hour away and my car started making very odd noises. I checked the temperature..everything was normal...so we carried on. We were planning to come off the M1 at junction 19, but missed the exit, and so W turned to me and said "Oh, don't worry, we can get off at the next one"...to which I responded "Okay...slight problem though...we're slowing down". Yes, on the M1. My flinstone mobile DIED. It clattered and clanked and made an awful banging noise as it came to a stop. Luckily my gut instinct kicked in and I swung the car into the hard shoulder in the split second I had before my car stopped. There was smoke coming out of my engine, and obviously because I'm a dramatic idiot and have clearly watched too many films, I started shouting "GET OUT GET OUT THE CAR!!" I then promptly burst into tears. We called from the SOS box to let them know we'd broken down. I then spent £140 for the AA to come and get us off the motorway and take a look at my car. (I didn't have any breakdown insurance, so joined the AA there and then, which I think is actually pretty bloomin' good, I didn't know you could do this). The police turned up to check what was going on, and told us we needed to stand behind the barrier for safety reasons. I stood behind the barrier...on a red ants nest...in flipflops. My feet were absolutely bitten to buggary.

£140 later, after being bitten by hundreds of red ants, standing in my ripped trousers, after being towed off the motorway, I was then told I had so much wrong with my car, it may not even be worth fixing. I've fixed my Flinstone Mobile, around 3 times now, and when it gets to the point where you're spending just about as much fixing it as you did paying for it in the first place, it's just not worth it. We were 100+ miles from home, I had hardly any money left in my bank (payday was the following day), I literally had no idea what to do. The garages were all closed so it looked like we'd be spending the night/weekend in a Travelodge. Eventually, I decided it was probably best to scrap my car. W got on the case, using google to find numbers for car scrappers near where we had ended up (by Leicester/Rugby). The AA man kindly dropped us off at a Travelodge so we could scrap the car either tonight, or tomorrow morning. Because it was my "lucky" day, OBVIOUSLY the Travelodge had absolutely NO rooms available. Yes. FACEPALM GALORE. We walked to a local pub and had something to eat as we were both starving then went back to the car and packed up everything in it (including my car mats and my cd player) into black bags. Thankfully some local car scrappers (who were the chuckle brothers of the car scrapping world. One had a big beer belly spilling over his joggers and peeping out underneath his too-small t shirt and the other had "orgasmic" something or other on the front of his t shirt and "camp dave" on the back) popped over to take a look at it and took it away. I must say, shamefully I felt very teary watching my first little car being taken off for absolute peanuts.

So there we were, a suitcase, a big pink bag, my handbag, 2 bin bags and 2 umbrellas, no car and we didn't know where we were or how to get home. We decided that getting a train was our best bet. We got a taxi to Rugby and caught the 22.12 train to London Euston. Once at London we caught a tube to the nearest station possible (most tube lines were closed as it was so late). So we decided to catch a taxi the rest of the way. Now, I did start to think (surely this day couldn't get ANY worse) turns out it can when you get into a taxi with what can only be described as the scariest driver in the world. Either that or he was quite literally drunk. He was driving like an absolute maniac. We were being flung around in the back of the taxi and I really did start to think "That's it..we're going to die".

Thankfully, we didn't die...It just left me feeling extremely sick. I cannot tell you how much of a relief it was to lie down at the end of what I can only describe the "worst-luck-i've-ever-had" day. It will definitely be a day I will always remember and one that will always make me laugh. At the time, it really wasn't funny, and anything that could have gone wrong, went wrong, but I'm home and I'm safe.

Things I have learnt over the last 2 days:

-Don't travel with things in your car that you don't actually need - I had to carry random crap home in bin bags, all because I was too lazy to remove things from my boot.
-Travel with as many of your car documents as you can at all times, you will need them if you ever need to "spontaneously scrap your car". It means they give you more money for it.
- You don't need 2 umbrellas in your car
- Always check you have a fully inflated spare tyre, and PLEASE get someone to show you how to change a tyre, then once changed, get the flat replaced to store as another spare.
- I need to practice driving round cities & large roundabouts. (I was a nightmare)
- Red ants like to nest alongside the motorway, so don't wear flipflops, just in case you break down.
-Just because there is smoke coming from your engine, doesn't mean it's going to catch fire and kill you. You aren't in an action film.
- Primark is cheap for a reason.
- Always get breakdown cover for your car, especially if it's a Flinstone Mobile. Saying to yourself "Naaah, that won't happen to me" unfortunately does not mean it won't.
-Rugby has a lovely train station.
-When a taxi driver winds down his window and you get a face full of cigar smoke and a load of mumble jumble, do not get in his taxi, he will most probably be drunk, or a maniac & will also overcharge you.
-I'm never buying a Vauxhall car again.
-I need to scrub up on my bowling skills.

Life Update & Bloggers Block

Back in January, I wrote about 2012 and how it wasn’t such a great year for me, I also wrote about all the things I wanted to achieve in 2013 and life changes I wanted to make. So far this year, I’ve done so many amazing things and reached some personal goals too. Let’s consider this my 6 month review as I fill you all in and reflect on the first half of the year.

The biggest of my achievements so far this year has got to be hitting 1 million subscribers on my YouTube Channel. On December 24th 2012, I remember hitting 400,000 subscribers and trying desperately to screenshot it as it hit that exact number and failing miserably but feeling so excited and happy that SO many of you had chosen to subscribe to my YouTube channel. On the 20th April, I hit 1 million subscribers. I’m not sure what happened in those 4 months for my channel to grow so quickly, but I think it was by far one of the best days of the year so far. I felt so emotional with everyone congratulating me and saying how proud they were. In all honesty, it never really sunk in how many of you that was, and with 1,600,000 of you now, it still hasn’t. I can’t quite comprehend HOW there are that many people watching me rambling on, but it’s so incredibly amazing and i’m so humbled by all your support.

The other thing I wanted to do this year was travel more, and I think i’ve succeeded very well with that. I did my first flight after 7 years going to Florida for playlist live, which was so incredible. Getting to meet lot’s of you and also meeting other YouTubers was so much fun. You can view each day I visited Florida in video diary form on my second channel here. Once i’d conquered that plane I felt like nothing was holding me back anymore. The plane journey was my nemesis, and after confronting it through an 8 hour flight, I felt like quite possibly...maybe I’d be able to travel a bit more. I then went to Paris, Mykonos & have LA next week for Vidcon, which i’m really looking forward to, and hopefully my optimistic attitude towards travel and flying will continue, because i’m really enjoying making up for all the years I shied away from visiting other countries due to anxiety.

This also brings me onto not “sweating the small stuff”. I agreed that this year I wouldn’t stress over the small things because life was too short. I’ve had a few stressful encounters so far this year, but I chose not to let them effect me as negatively as they may have done previously, and seen things in a much more positive light, however hard that may be sometimes. I’ve also tried to encourage a lot of my friends to stop sweating the small stuff too, because if we spend too long stressing over the smaller things, they then become bigger things, and it gets a lot more messy and hard to let go. If there is something currently bugging you, let it go, smile, every day is precious.

I’ve enjoyed hanging out with friends new and old, and watching Darcy grow into a little lady. I have such amazing people around me, most of whom you may also watch on YouTube. I know you only get to see the videos they film, edit and upload of themselves in 3-10 minutes on the internet, but behind that, they really are AMAZING people with such huge influences on my life and happiness.

I have also enjoyed spending quality time with my family and friends at home. Although this year is quite a whirlwind, and I have managed to travel a lot. It’s also important to spend days at home chilling, relaxing...shooting some b ball..ha! No, in all seriousness, with this beautiful weather I have been out in my garden at one with nature. I have even made friends with a hedgehog family.

There are also a few things i’ve not done very well so far and i’m going to tackle these things now, so that i have 6 months to rectify this. Drinking more water? yeh...i’ve not done that very well. I told myself I would drink from a two litre bottle every single day, but I definitely have not stuck to that (I can’t lie to you guys). I think setting myself the goal of drinking two litres every day was pushing it a bit, I may have been a little too optimistic when I decided that, but i’m definitely going to make more of a conscious effort to hydrate myself more. I’m one of these odd people that never feel thirsty and can go a whole day forgetting to drink something. NOT GOOD.

I also decided I would be a bit more organised. Organisation, requires time management and time itself to get organised, and time isn’t something I’ve had a lot of recently. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE being busy, and I love having so many things to keep track on and keep up with, but it does stress me out to think that a lot of things don’t have their place and I can’t do all the things i’d like to be doing when I want to do them. I have managed to organise my calendar from now until December though, which is an improvement from not keeping a diary at all, and i’ve only turned up 30 minutes late to ONE doctors appointment! haha

This also then brings me on to my blog. I told myself I would blog more (good going Zoe, 1 or 2 posts a month isn’t that great). I’m not quite sure why I can’t sit down and write about all the products I love, or the makeup i’m wearing, or new collections, or my day out with Louise & Darcy. I think I have become a bit overwhelmed with the amount of you that read these ramblings, even when i’m not posting anything new! And it’s got to the point where I honestly don’t know how or where to start. I have all these blog post ideas swimming around in my head and in about 5 different note books. I have hundreds of blog pictures of products that I want to share with you. I will always see my blog as my little place to escape, to keep you up to date, to ramble on about everything and nothing and to share things with you, that’s how this all started, and that’s what it will continue to be. The second half of this year, i’m going to try REALLY hard to get my blogging back on track. I know I say this all the time, but it’s honestly something I think about a lot of the time. It doesn’t help that life has got a lot more busy, and i’ve decided to really push myself to do more and try new things, which takes up more time than I initially realised haha. Thank you so much to those of you who have stuck by me through my desert phases (This is what I shall call them as they are dry spells with...nothingness), also, hello to any new readers who might be here too. I appreciate that not all of you want to see me gassing on in a video about products, and secretly read about them during work hours, (or just don’t really like my voice haha), so i’m really going to try and make a conscious effort to get more content on here. I’m not saying after this i’ll bosh a post out every single day, it might take me a while to get back into the swing of it, but i’m going to put on my blogging cap and get blogging.

This is also where i’d like your input. I already have a huge list of ideas and blog posts that I’d like to do at some point (I even have 3 giveaways that i’ve had planned for months and months that I went out and purchased and have just left lying around) but i’d like to hear any ideas you might have. I’d also like to know, if you have a blog yourself, do you ever get “bloggers block?”

So that’s it for now folks! My little life update and 6 month review of the things I wanted to achieve this year. So far it’s about 50/50 so I still have time to sort that out. What things are you going to try and achieve by the time the year is up? Let me know!

Hair of The Day..Messy Curls.

Just thought i'd quickly post my hair and (kindof) face of the day.
I curled my hair (messily might i add - i cannot stand a perfectly curled head of hair...i always want to ruffle it when i see it..you know what i mean?..all curled the same way and crispy hard...haha)
I used a straightner and just went crazy. Used lots of hairspray, a touch of backcombing...and voilaaa![I'm wearing Barry M lipgloss in shade...erm 4? i think]

[Im sorry..i really have no explanation for this picture...i dont know what i was doing.. :/]

[Seriously...does anyone even do this anymore? Bit 90's isn't it!? Girl power n all that though!]

"But Zoe, what happened to all your high quality photos of your makeup?"
Well, i quickly snapped these with my webcam as i find it quicker and easier this way...and as the focus was on my hair..i thought "Why the heck not?"
I went a bit snap-happy. haha
But with burst mode i tend to get a bit carried away.
I spy my new scarf :O I love it.
Hope you like it ladies. Any questions, just ask as always

Land of Soap & Glory.

I am ever a fan of gimmicky/pretty packaging...and yes..shallowly..it sucks me right in.
This is what happened to me & my mum (She is now a super fan of Soap & Glory).
In Boots at the moment, there is an offer on with all Soap & Glory products, so if you haven't tried anything from this fabulous range, i suggest now would be the perfect time to!
I was in a smaller local boots when i came across alot more of the range i hadn't ever seen before (Alot only stock the the more general items such as the shower gels..body lotions and the more popular things like the hand food)
So...of course i thought i had to try some.

First is the Wipes. Honestly, i just got these because they are adorable. & claim to tighten pores, cleanse & tone and remove makeup. Thumbs up!
They also smell AMAZING!
I will definitely be getting some more of these. They look pretty on my dressing table :)

The Eye Gel

This claims to immediately tighten and heighten the skin under the eyes, and leave it nicely moisturised.
It includes depuffing caffeine, pro- vitamin panthenol & soothing aloe vera juice!

If you look at it in the light, it has purpley/pink/green reflexs in it. And looks SO pretty. It also feels so nice under your eyes, not your usual cooling effect but more a tingly warming one. I really cant say anything more than that as i havent been using it for long. But so i far i really like it.

Glow Job (snigger)
Yes..im immature, this name is bordering rude...thankfully it's not. :)
The box says : Squeeze a pea sized measure of glow job onto your fingerstips, then rub together to release the bronze from inside the beads and blend. Apply to your face in upward circular motions then just get up and glow!

Freshly squeezed...

You can see the bronze beads here..

You can see the final result here. A nice faux tan effect. It's also nice and dewy. I don't own any face products to give a "washable tan effect". And this one has fab results, good for nights out and on days were you're feeling particularly pale and pasty. Which is most days for me...as i find it almost impossible to tan my face...must be because i have dry skin!? who knows. :)

The Fab Pore Intense Action Pore-Refining Facial Peel
[Mouthful much?]

This stuff smells FAB! That's one thing i truley love about all Soap & Glory products and its the way they smell. My HG body scrub is from Soap & Glory...and to be honest..i have attempted to eat some. It smelt good but i wouldnt advise munching any. :)
I think even the fact it's called "facial peel" is exciting as you truley imagine it to peel off the layers of skin which are no good. I have yet to try this mask, but i can tell you that the consistency on my hand was just as a facemask should be, and when i washed it off, the skin on my hand felt SO soft.
I don't have very visible pores on my face, but i do have a few. So i can report back for those of you who are self conscious about pores, and are looking for a solution for minimizing them.

Heel Genius Soak-In Foot Mask
Now i don't know about you, but my favourite foot mask's are those that you slather all over your tootsies before bed, whack on some cotton socks, let it do it's magic, wake up to reveal soft feet?
Let's be honest, it is the easier option to getting the footspa out.
Again, a massive thumbs up for the scent. It has a sortof sunlotion smell. & i do love that, reminds me of summer. (not that we're really experiencing any summer at the moment)
It's also got a really silky consitency and melts into the skin so easily. When i washed this off my hand i was shocked at how soft it was. *Smoothes back of hand over cheek*
Can't wait to treat my feet with this :)

I really can't reccommend Soap & Glory products highly enough. The packaging is genius & they apply a sense of humour to their products aswell.
Gimmicky names, FAB scents, Amazing packaging (i can't really bring myself to throw the boxes away) & they even put beauty tips on the boxes too...
I like this one..
"Wear sunscreen on your face everyday, or in 20 years you could be wearing it as a belt"

Give Soap & Glory a go! I have yet to be let down by any of their products.
